My research converges expertise in bio-materials, manufacturing, and mechanical design. Current focus areas include include additive manufacturing (spanning from nano to macro scales), thick tissue materials and the software needed to design and simulate them. These technical areas connect both to fundamental principles and applications in a variety of domains including organoids, bio-factories, sensors, implantable tissue and medical devices.
